URB Remodeling & Renovation has provided excellent remodeling work in my condo on Lakeshore Drive. I am very impressed with their quick responsiveness, communication, and superior quality. I recently needed some new repairs and called to get on their schedule. They exceeded my expectations again by coming by to make the repairs the next day. Again, the repairs were made professionally and their attention to detail was spot on. They made recommendations that I had not considered and were less expensive than expected. We worked with Remy at URB Remodeling to replace our wet bar, while also adding a laundry unit and couldn't be happier with the results. I felt that Remi was very fair in his estimate and stayed on budget 100%. His team worked diligently and were sure to keep me up to date on what they needed to have the work go as smoothly as possible. Even when there were small hiccups due to unforeseen circumstances, they responded deftly and if they wouldn't have told me I would have been none the wiser. I contracted URB recently to complete some light remodeling in our kitchen and bathroom, including the addition of tile backsplashes, new mirrors, electrical and plumbing updates. From our initial estimates conversations all the way to the final stages, Remi showed excellent follow-through and communication throughout the project. He took care to answer my questions, offered helpful recommendations, and accommodated adjustments to the scope of the work. The only issue we ran into was a small miscommunication about a particular detail regarding the execution of the kitchen backsplash, but after clarifying to the team they were happy to revise and we did not lose much time at all. I enjoyed the collaboration with Remi and his team, and we're super happy with the quality of their work and that it was completed within our target timeframe and budget. We had debated whether to invest in these updates now or wait another year or two, however now that we get to enjoy the results every day we have zero doubts about our decision.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We hired URB Remodeling to install new countertops and backsplash for our kitchen and are SUPER happy with the results! Remi was super patient with my husband and I throughout the whole process, since we take forever to make mutual decisions. He provided several quotes along the way until we knew what we wanted - major kudos to him changing direction with us so many times! The team was efficient, clean, and professional when it came to the actual install. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure seamless execution and it showed in the end results!

Remi and his team did an incredible job with finishing our basement. With a little one on the way, we needed to make more space fast. After calling several places and getting insane quotes or multi-month wait times, I called URB. Remi came out and listened to what we wanted to do, pitched some good ideas and came back with a fair price that matched the ballpark of what my friend who flips homes said it should be. Remi and his team got started earlier than I expected and were finished in just three weeks! All through the process, I got great communication, helpful suggestions, and top notch quality. Remi even provided a creative solution to another issue we were having with one of the beam cracking, by extending part of the framing to provide support. The outcome looks fantastic, even better than I had envisioned. I cannot recommend URB enough, probably the most positive experience I have ever had with remodeling/repairs to our home ever. If we ever do any type of remodeling in the future, I know who to call.

We recently used URB for some bathroom work. Throughout the entire process we were very happy. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, follow up, and overall great work.

I highly recommend this company. I had a problem with a toilet that was (very poorly) installed 4 years ago. There was a sewage odor that was the result of a poorly sized and lined up wax ring. I got Remi’s name from a friend and in a matter of days the job was done, and at a very reasonable price I might add. The plumber, Abel is the nicest, sweetest guy in the world. I know Remi does much bigger jobs than this and I appreciate that he took the time to help me out. Great company.

Remi at URB is an excellent general contractor that has a great team of subcontractors working for him. I used Remi for a large renovation in my first home - his professionalism and demeanor made an otherwise stressful experience much more enjoyable. He was timely, communicated well, and delivered outstanding results. I will be using Remi and URB again the next time I need any work done.

GM is responsive , communicative, and professional. We had a dormer built out and framed . Workers were the same. One of the easiest jobs I’ve had done in many years.

Called them to fix some mistakes done by another contractor. They Knew what to do and tried to make the repair as easy as possible. Great work, very happy!

What hasn't URB done for us? From waterproofing the outside of our house to prevent flooding, making a bedroom and full bath in our basement, redoing our outside porch, a new roof on our garage, painting etc...I trust this company above any other. Straight forward and professional, Remi is a straight shooter . He and his team are timely, efficient, and the quality of their work is above and beyond. The next time you are looking for a contractor I would definitely give URB a try!

We used Remi & his team to do a complete remodel of our Michigan Avenue Condo when we purchased in 5 years back. So when it came time to sell it this year, we reached out to him again to fix up a few things that needed to be refreshed. Like in the past his team was prompt, responsive, on-time and on-budget. First rate Professionals from start to finish! I had the pros at URB remodeling install a kitchen ventilation fan in our condominium where there was none. Remi came out and thoroughly investigated everything. I received a very detailed estimate and scheduled the work. All communications were always on time, clear and responsive. When Remi and Robert came to do the work they meticulously covered and protected everything in the Kitchen area. They were simply terrific with the installation and cleanup.
